How to run a Trivia Wheel Game
The Trivia Category Wheel starts with 10 classic quiz categories, including History, Science, Pop Culture, and Geography. Use them immediately or replace them with your own subjects through the list or Bulk Edit. Quizmasters can enable Auto-remove Winner so each category appears once before the list is reset. The result is selected before the animation; in supported browsers the selector uses Web Crypto with rejection sampling. For co-hosted events, Share creates a link containing the current wheel configuration. Anyone with that link can read the encoded categories, so treat it as data you chose to send. The tool is free, needs no download, and works in current phone, tablet, and desktop browsers.

What trivia categories can I put on the wheel?
Any category you like — the default list includes History, Science, Geography, Pop Culture, Sports, Music, Movies, Food & Drink, Literature, and Technology. Clear the list and type your own: difficulty levels, point values, custom subjects, or anything else that fits your quiz.
Can I make some quiz categories come up more often?
Yes. Raise a category's weight in the entries panel. Setting Sports to 2 while everything else stays at 1 doubles its chance of landing, and its slice grows on the wheel so everyone can see the skew. Useful when you have more questions in certain subjects.
Can I use this for a pub quiz without repeating categories?
Yes. Turn on Auto-remove Winner in Options. Each spin removes the category it picks, so the wheel works through all your subjects in a random order with no repeats. When the last category is drawn, the wheel empties and the quiz is done.
Can I share the trivia wheel with my quiz team?
Yes. Click Share to copy a URL that encodes all your categories. Send it to your co-hosts and everyone opens the same pre-loaded wheel — no setup on their end.
How many trivia categories can the wheel hold?
As many as you like. For a live event where the audience needs to read the wheel from a distance, keep it under 20 categories and set the label size to Large in Options. The winner is always announced in full in the popup even if the slice is too narrow to show text.
